Fincy
Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 26, 2026
Fincy is a personal finance tracker. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using Fincy, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
We collect:
- Account information — when you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address through our authentication provider (Supabase).
- Financial data you enter — accounts, transactions, budgets, debts, merchants, recurring plans, shared spaces, and related settings you create in the app.
- Technical data — basic logs needed to operate and secure the service (for example request metadata and authentication tokens).
How we use information
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain the Fincy service
- Authenticate you and keep your data secure
- Support shared spaces and invites you choose to create
- Improve reliability and fix issues
We do not sell your personal or financial data to advertisers.
Where data is stored
Your data is stored with our hosting and backend providers (including Supabase for authentication and database, and our API and web hosting providers). Data is transmitted over HTTPS.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers that help us run Fincy (such as Google for sign-in, and Supabase/hosting providers), and when required by law. Shared spaces may make certain expense information visible to other members you invite.
Retention and your choices
We keep your data while your account is active. You can sign out at any time from Settings. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us using the email associated with your Fincy account (or the contact method listed for this app), and we will delete your data within a reasonable time unless we must retain it for legal reasons.
Children
Fincy is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of Fincy after changes means you accept the updated policy.
Contact
Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to the operator of this Fincy instance using the email on your Google account used to sign in, or any support contact published with the app.
